Software Engineer, Systems Engineer

Overview

The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Civil group is seeking Software Engineers who will be a member of a dynamic team working on one of several Air Traffic Management programs including:

• En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM), the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System, providing the foundation for Nex Gen functions
• Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM), a tower based system that improves surface management and electronic flight strips
• Investment Research and Development (IRAD) projects in support of the Brand New Air Traffic Control System.
• Sky Line-X provides an array of advanced air traffic management capabilities to improve aircraft safety, performance, and efficiency across the world's airspace.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tasks will include the development of design and coding of the program software, including Object Oriented programming concepts, XML, Java script, C, C++, Java and Python.

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidates must have completed a degree program in a relevant discipline; for example, engineering, computer science.
• Candidates must have the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Candidates must be US Citizens

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including experience through academic projects

Pay Range: Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
