We are seeking a highly self-motivated Research Engineer to join our energetic R&D team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for building prototypes and a strong foundation in applied physics and electro-mechanical systems.

• Prototyping: Design, fabricate, and assemble experimental setups and functional prototypes using COTS components and machining tools.
• Testing & Analysis: Characterize the performance of new products; analyze and interpret complex data to validate design concepts.
• Product Development: Assist in the iterative design and maturation of emerging technologies from concept to prototype.
• Documentation: Prepare high-quality technical reports and documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Education: B.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.

  Skills:
  
  Proven experience in designing, fabricating, and constructing experimental setups.
• Analytical Ability: Strong skills in analyzing measured data to evaluate prototype performance.
• Soft Skills: Excellent work ethic, strong written/verbal communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
• Citizenship: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is preferred.

• Instrumentation: Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical hardware/software integration, and system design.
• Physics Background: Solid understanding of Electromagnetic and Ultrasonic/Acoustic sensors.
• Software/Simulation: Proficiency in Python programming and FEA Analysis
