ResponsibilitiesKnow, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Mission, Vision, Values and Guiding Behaviors of Trinity Health and TH PACE in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Consistently demonstrate (lead by example) TH PACE Values to all internal and external customers, participants, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, propagating a calm environment throughout the office.
- Execute assignments in a culture that is shared and collaborative across all divisions within TH PACE.
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures and as instructed by supervisors.
- Promote and maintain collaborative relationships with managers, peers, and customers, fostering a team environment and resolving conflicts.
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, TH PACE Corporate Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, and other policies and procedures to ensure ethical and professional behavior.
- In a disaster, know your disaster recovery, crisis management and business continuity plans, acting within your role as developed in the business continuity plan.
- Attend and participate in scheduled training, mandatory annual in-service training, and educational classes as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the serving kitchen and equipment, performing scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies, preparing food in compliance with sanitary regulations.
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel and other departments within the program to assure proper food service for participants.
- Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Assist in preparing and serving nutritional supplements and snacks under the direction of the Dietitian or designee.
- Work in various line functions as assigned, including setting up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions within the kitchen area.
- Participate in and support Quality Improvement Initiatives.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all PACE Organization procedures and information about participants, families, and vendors.
- Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with program policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of food preparation experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Superior written and verbal communication skills appropriate for audience comprehension
- Must be action-oriented, manage conflict well, be customer focused, have high decision quality and be flexible to adapt to ongoing change
- Proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and basic knowledge of electronic mail and calendaring system
- Ability to engage in frequent kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting; must be able to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 20 pounds if applicable
Pay Range: $16.29-$19.14/hr
