Summary
Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in our acute care setting. Patients are adults and we do have a NICU if the candidate has an interest in learning this area. We see orthopedic, trauma, neurological and general debility patients.
Schedule:
Working Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m. (will consider options with days and hours, including 4 days of the week, but we do need until 6:00 p.m. for coverage needs). Required to work 2 weekend days per month minimum, with day off during the week. Required to work 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend (which counts as your weekend for that month) minimum.
Experience clinically in acute care preferred. New graduates with acute care clinical experience are welcome to apply.
Special SkillsStrong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
License/CertRequired:
NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist)
