Piper Companies is seeking a Medical Technologist I to join a CRO located in Gaithersburg, MD
.
- Perform clinical pathology testing including clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation used for biological sample analysis
- Review laboratory data for accuracy and document results in compliance with GLP, SOP, and study requirements
- Perform manual testing procedures including blood smear reviews, manual reticulocyte counts, and urine microscopic examinations
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or a related scientific field
- Experience performing sample analysis in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and/or urinalysis
- Experience performing blood smear evaluations, urinalysis, and operating laboratory instrumentation
- Rate Range: $55,000-$70,000 annually depending on certification and experience
