Lead DevSecOps Engineer Job Gaithersburg area,Maryland USA,IT/Tech

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lead Dev Sec Ops Engineer to support a company focused on developing next-generation air traffic management and automation capabilities through a hybrid cloud platform supporting critical national infrastructure. This position is on-site in Gaithersburg, MD;
Egg Harbor Township, NJ; or Eagan, MN (hybrid schedule available based on location). The Lead Dev Sec Ops Engineer will lead the development and maintenance of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while supporting modern software delivery and platform engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities for the Lead Dev Sec Ops Engineer include:

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration, testing, and deployment efforts
Manage Kubernetes environments, containerized applications, and cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
Implement Dev Sec Ops best practices including security scanning, software supply chain security, artifact management, and vulnerability remediation
Develop automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational support
Collaborate with software development teams to improve deployment reliability, platform performance, developer experience, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications for the Lead Dev Sec Ops Engineer include:

4+ years of experience supporting Dev Ops, Dev Sec Ops , Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure environments
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions;
Kubernetes;
Docker; and Terraform
Strong Linux administration skills, scripting experience with Bash and/or Python, and knowledge of networking and security best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Compensation for the Lead Dev Sec Ops Engineer include:

Salary Range: $87,100 - $157,450 depending on experience
