Chase Reese Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to support a government customer focused on modernizing mission-critical air traffic management systems. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and implementing security automation to support scalable, reliable software deployments.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Gaithersburg, MD;
Eagan, MN; or Egg Harbor Township, NJ, for candidates within a one-hour commute.

Responsibilities for the Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineer Include:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated integration, testing, and software deployments.

Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and Docker containerized environments.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management.

Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability scanning tools into development pipelines.

Implement software supply chain security controls including SBOM generation, artifact signing, and dependency scanning.

Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve platform reliability.

Automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, and Dev Ops tooling.

Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and support platform modernization.

Qualifications for the Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineer Include:4+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years with a Master's degree; equivalent experience considered.

Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Linux administration.

Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.

Experience with Python, Bash, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation.

Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  practices, security scanning, container security, and software supply chain security.

Experience with networking, load balancing, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and cross-functional development teams.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Compensation for the Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineer Includes:

Compensation: $65 - $75/hr depending on experience
