Established, growing defense manufacturer seeking a supply chain leader with proven experience building, scaling and transforming supply chain organizations within aerospace/defense manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has personally established a supply chain department or function, developed teams, implemented processes and led organizational change in a manufacturing environment.

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution
• Build, develop and scale supply chain teams, processes and infrastructure
• Own planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, materials, inventory, warehousing and logistics
• Establish and improve SI&OP, production planning, material availability and supplier performance
• Lead organizational change, process implementation and operational improvements
• Support manufacturing growth, production ramp-up, NPI, proposals and obsolescence planning
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations and program leadership

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience
• Several years of supply chain management and team leadership
• Aerospace and defense industry experience
• Direct manufacturing environment experience
• Demonstrated success establishing or significantly building out a supply chain department
• Experience hiring, training and developing teams
• Change management, organizational development and process implementation
• DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR and DFARS knowledge

• Startup, greenfield or new-division supply chain buildout
• Experience scaling manufacturing operations through significant growth
• Defense electronics or other complex, high-technology manufacturing
