Director, Procurement Business Partner Oncology Business Unit
Lead strategic procurement initiatives for the Oncology Business Unit, aligning procurement processes with organizational objectives and ensuring compliance, cost‑efficiency, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities- Plan and review the performance of procurement and related function teams within the area of responsibility.
- Plan, manage, and control the overall allocation of resources.
- Ensure appropriate supplier‑management methods are applied.
- Direct new initiatives and improvement programmes aimed at compliance, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Recruit, define goals, set, and manage performance standards for a multi‑functional team that delivers procurement projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Advise on and drive procurement strategy to ensure processes align with organizational objectives.
- Lead a multi‑disciplinary team to define and achieve procurement efficiency standards and associated procedures, ensuring assets meet business needs and external regulatory requirements.
- Define and gain approval of business needs and translate these needs into specific resource requirements.
- Coach and develop professional aspects of procurement team members.
- Develop senior‑level contacts to resolve issues, optimise business performance, and identify future improvement opportunities.
- Manage a team of approximately 10–20 people, including direct and indirect reports, and coordinate with matrix and global managers across 2–3 countries.
- Degree‑level qualification.
- Thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in at least one area of procurement with knowledge of several others.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others.
- Comfort with risk and ambiguous situations.

- Base Salary: – USD annually.
- Base pay may vary based on location, experience, and skills.
- Short‑term incentive bonus opportunity.
