Job Description
- Direct day‑to‑day operations of the caregiver office in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing assisted living, ensuring all staff practice these guidelines.
- Complete medical forms, QA reports, evaluations, charting, 24‑hour reports for DON, admission/transfer/discharge forms, accident/incident reports, and document relevant information in resident care notes/logs.
- Review monthly kardexes for completeness, ensure accurate transcription of physician orders, and adherence to stop‑order policies.
- Review interdisciplinary progress notes to assure they are informative, reflective of resident response, and meet all regulatory documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing or a New Graduate.
- Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse License.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Effective communication with internal and external customers.
