Surgery Appointment Technician
Veterinary Referral Associates is currently seeking a Surgery Appointment Technician to join their team at Pet Vet Care Centers.
Signing Bonus Available for qualified applicant**
Responsibilities- Reading and interpreting medical records for synopsis
- Eliciting succinct medical history from pet owners
- Gaining patient vital signs
- Obtaining diagnostic‑quality radiographs
- Phlebotomy and performing lab work
- Generating proper computer estimates for procedures
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Basic medical terminology and anatomical identification
- Ability to take initiative and follow direction
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Be friendly, outgoing, and people‑oriented
- Must have sound decision‑making skills and be able to multi‑task while working in an environment of stress
- Day shift
- On call
- 10‑hour shift
2+ years’ experience as a veterinary technician is required.
RVT preferred
