Starting pay and benefits for a CNG/Diesel Mechanic:

• Starting salary of $26.13 - $39.19 per hour depending on experience

Hours and location:

• Monday – Friday, start at 3:30am – 12pm
• No weekends
• Repair/maintenance shop at our Gaithersburg, MD hauling site

Summary of responsibilities and impact:

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Perform safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety standards
• Complete required paperwork, document parts usage and repair times
• Assist senior Mechanics with project work and review/complete driver vehicle inspection repairs

Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Work environment and physical demands:

• Physical effort including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical risks and typical shop/gas plant conditions
• Indoor shop or outdoor conditions with varying weather
