Hours & Location

• Monday – Friday every week
• Start at 3:30 am – 12 pm
• No weekends
• Repair / maintenance shop at our Gaithersburg, MD hauling site

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks; prioritize safety of employees and communities
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in completion of project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, etc.
• Exposure to physical environment elements such as dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar often
• Operations in both inside garage/shop or gas plant and outside conditions including inclement weather, heat and humidity
