The HVAC Service Manager will lead commercial HVAC service operations in Gaithersburg, MD, supporting customers throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.
Responsibilities- Lead a commercial HVAC service department consisting of 3 Team Leads, approximately 50 service technicians, and a Dispatch Manager
- Oversee HVAC service operations, technician management, field service activities, and service dispatch
- Manage bids, estimates, HVAC service estimating, and related service proposals
- Oversee payroll and service department profitability
- Support service department growth and operational planning
- Handle high-level customer service matters for commercial and industrial HVAC customers
- Partner with the sales team on service opportunities and customer needs
- 8+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- HVAC service management experience
- In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Experience reading and interpreting HVAC technical manuals, electrical schematics, and control circuits
- Experience managing HVAC service technicians and service operations
- Experience with customer service and service sales within commercial HVAC or mechanical service operations
Compensation for this position will include a base salary in the 135k - 175k/year range, depending on experience, as well as bonus opportunity.
