Sr. Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications using modern software development practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, experience building scalable and secure applications, and the ability to work effectively in Agile development environments. This role involves collaborating closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, architects, Dev Sec Ops  teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions in mission-critical environments.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, architects, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software within Agile sprints.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Develop clean, maintainable, well-documented code in accordance with secure coding standards and software engineering best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform root cause analysis to improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and application reliability.
• Collaborate with Dev Sec Ops  teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security across enterprise environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and long‑term technology strategies.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues in mission-critical environments.

• U.S. citizenship is required in accordance with contract requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 8–12 years of relevant experience
  , or a Master’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages, including:

  • Python

• Experience developing web-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
