We are currently looking for an experienced Site Agent to join the delivery team on a major civils infrastructure project in Galashiels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects, looking to take responsibility for the successful delivery of site activities.

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of works on site, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards.

• Managing site operations and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Planning and sequencing works to meet programme requirements.
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and project specifications.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Working closely with the Project Manager, engineers and commercial team.
• Monitoring progress and reporting against programme.
• Managing site records, inspections and quality documentation.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent / Senior Site Supervisor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• A strong understanding of construction processes, temporary works and site management.
• Experience working on large-scale civils, utilities, highways, rail or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
• Relevant industry qualifications, with SMSTS and a suitable site safety qualification expected.
• CSCS or equivalent industry certification.
