Are you an experienced PCV Driver looking for a secure and rewarding role in the Scottish Borders?
Borders Buses is looking for professional, customer-focused PCV Drivers to join our friendly team at our Galashiels depot. We have opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with a range of shift options available.
Every journey matters. Whether you are helping customers travel to work, school, appointments, the shops or further afield, you will play an important role in providing a safe, reliable and welcoming service to the communities we serve.
Working in GalashielsBased at our Galashiels depot, you will help keep communities connected across the Scottish Borders and beyond. You will be part of a supportive local team in a varied role where no two days are the same.

As a PCV Driver, you will:
- Safely and professionally operate buses on local service routes
- Provide excellent customer service and a safe, comfortable journey for every passenger
- Help connect local communities by getting customers to their destinations safely and on time
- Handle cash and card payments accurately and responsibly, where required
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and professionalism
- Represent Borders Buses positively through your driving standards, appearance and customer care
- A valid PCV licence entitlement
- An up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
- A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The confidence to work independently and take responsibility for the safety and comfort of your passengers
- To live within a reasonable travelling distance of Galashiels or be willing to relocate
- To obtain and maintain satisfactory PVG Scheme membership, where required for the role
