Family Medicine Physician- Galax

Carilion Clinic Family Medicine – Galax is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join their outpatient-only practice, which includes two physicians and four advanced clinical practitioners. Located in Galax, Virginia, the practice offers a supportive and collaborative environment, and is open to flexible work arrangements, including job-sharing opportunities. The clinic features an impressive lab and x-ray department comparable to those found in small hospitals, providing comprehensive lab services, digital x-rays, ultrasound studies, and stress testing.

The practice is supported by a sophisticated EMR system (EPIC), along with centralized patient registration and billing. A new facility was opened in January 2020, enhancing the patient experience and modernizing care delivery.

Galax, Virginia is a charming small town rich in heritage, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
