- Employment:
Physician Group Employed Position (hospital employed); a Duke Lifepoint Hospital - Expectations:
In office care consist of 20-25 patients per day with 40-50 new patients a month. Traditional model includes outpatient clinic, newborn nursery, minimal inpatient and delivery care - Current Practice Structure:
Physicians, APPs, clerical staff, LPNs, Lactation Consultant, Office Manager - Location:
Office located less than a mile from hospital. Service area includes Galax and surrounding counties - Equipment and Services:
In office lab for rapid test and CBCs, Lactation Consulting - Accolades and Accreditations:
Rural Health Clinic - Twin County Regional Hospital is a 141 bed hospital located in Galax, VA, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast
- TCRH is considered a rural facility that serves a large medical population of approximately 60,000 within a 100-mile radius

Shift & Schedule
- Schedule:
Standard office hours with flexible day options to extend hours for 4-5 days per week - Shared call 10 days minimum with one weekend per month
