Director of Rehabilitation; DOR

Position Summary

As the Director of Rehabilitation, you are responsible to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Rehabilitation will seek to return the resident to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of resident, physician, and therapy goals.

You will follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Rehabilitation Policies and Procedures.

• Organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department.
• Return residents to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of resident, physician, and therapy goals.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.

• Must possess a valid and current license as a therapist or therapist assistant granted by the state of employment.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a therapy role in a hospital, rehabilitation community, or other related healthcare community, preferably in long‑term care.
