Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform job assignments for housekeeping, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions and teach others how to operate a variety of industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Assist in training, quality control, and in-servicing staff according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety, and customer service expectations are met.
  • Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment; deliver reports to HCSG and facility management.
  • Tour facility areas to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation.
  • Handle payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
  • Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
  • Use protective gear, maintain safe cleaning practices, and adhere to infection control and universal precautions.
  • Ensure punctual attendance, timely completion of cleaning assignments, and proper response to paging system.
  • Represent HCSG politely and cooperatively with supervisors, co‑workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions for routine tasks.
  • After training, utilize leadership skills to perform responsibilities independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete web‑based reports.
  • Must be able to be at work as scheduled and on time.
  • Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must reside in the service area.
