Guardian Glass, a Guardian Industries company, is seeking a Truck Driver in Galax, VA. New starting wage 55 cents per mile, with increases at 6 months to 58 cents per mile and at one year to 62 cents per mile for solo drivers. 5,000 sign‑on bonus! 7 % match on 401(k), 3 weeks paid vacation upon hire, and excellent medical benefits. Full‑time position involving delivery of flat glass products across the region.

• Perform all duties necessary to ensure the safe operation and delivery of flat glass products.
• Drive combination vehicles weighing up to 80,000 lb gross.
• Maintain hours‑of‑duty status via electronic logging device (FMCSA).
• Work up to 14 hours a day, any day of the week.
• Work 50‑70 hours in any 8‑day period.
• Lift up to 75 lb (by individual).
• Perform driver‑vehicle inspections, FMCSA/DOT inspections.
• Secure loads of glass to the trailer using winch bars and climbing ladders to handle containers up to 12,000 lb.

• Class A CDL.

• One year or more experience driving a flatbed truck.
