Overview Job Specifics
- This position combines a partial supervising clinician FTE with a clinical non‑invasive cardiologist FTE for a full‑time 1.0 FTE role
- The Supervising Clinician is responsible for communicating, implementing and monitoring the operational tactics which are geared toward achieving the strategic objectives of OSF, through direct leadership and oversight of physicians and/or advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Through strong working relationships with physicians, APPs, administrative leaders, and clinical and support staff, ensures the provision of quality care delivery and standardized efficient operations in accordance with OSF and regulatory requirements in the assigned work environment.
- Serves as a role model of the OSF Leader Competencies. Positively supports and conveys the OSF vision and Key Results and demonstrates the OSF Leader Competencies on a continual basis.
- Leads change and implementation efforts within the assigned work environment.
- Supports a culture of continuous improvement and conveys the need for change to Mission Partners, so they can see the vision and reason for change.
- Expected compensation to fall between $0-$1000/hr, prorated based on FTE

- Licenses/Certifications:
APRN OR PA - Experience 2 years of experience in the clinical delivery of medical care.
- Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Education:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO) - Experience:
2 years of experience in the clinical delivery of medical care - Licensure/ Certification:
Certification in area of specialty - Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to successfully lead and motivate a workforce.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
