In this full‑time, day‑shift role you will travel to multiple facilities, examine and treat a wide range of wound‑related conditions, and collaborate closely with medical and nursing staff.

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long‑term care
• Daily travel to various facilities; region may vary based on scheduling needs
• Examine and treat chronic and acute wound‑related illnesses and accidents, minor injuries, and wounds
• Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate follow‑up
• Refer, update physicians, prescribe, and perform bedside wound‑care procedures
• Collaborate with the medical director in resident and staff care
• Perform safe debridement by sharp, enzymatic, autolytic, or surgical methods during patient visits
• Apply and manage topical wound‑care products and recommend associated services
• Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on current wound‑management practices

• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination
• Current licensed registered nurse in the state
• Current active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program
• Current approval by the Board of Nursing to perform medical acts
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Straight forward for 4+ hours, lift up to 100 lb, push/pull 70+ lb
• Lift 10 lb for routine functions
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist during patient care
• Depth perception required for medical procedures

• Exposure to adverse indoor/outdoor conditions, blood borne pathogens, needle pricks, chemical hazards
• Travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within local area
• Position requires COVID‑19 vaccination
