Food Safety & Quality Supervisor

Gpac is partnering with a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Food Safety & Quality Supervisor to support and maintain robust food safety and quality systems at the plant level. This role works closely with the Food Safety & Quality Manager and plant operations to ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements.

• Verify and maintain food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, sanitation programs, prerequisite programs, manufacturing processes, plant environment, and finished products
• Collaborate with operations to initiate and follow through on corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, customer, and facility food safety and quality standards
• Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory food safety audits
• Serve as backup SQF Practitioner, as assigned
• Actively support implementation, maintenance, and review of the food safety management system
• Investigate food safety incidents and ensure appropriate reporting, CAPAs, and documentation
• Support food and feed safety systems in compliance with government regulations
• Independently resolve moderately complex issues and elevate higher‑level concerns as needed
• Verify the three‑stage review process for finished product release
• Manage and support food safety and quality training initiatives, including continuous improvement and MPF quality management system maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Diploma/Certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years of experience in the food and/or feed industry
• Minimum two years of related food safety or quality experience
• PCQI Certification
• HACCP Certification
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Manufacturing environment experience
• Experience working closely with plant operations
• SQF implementation experience or ability to achieve certification within six months

• Reports directly to the Food Safety & Quality Manager
• Works closely with plant staff, operators, and mechanics to resolve food safety and quality issues
