Hydromat Technician
Johnson Welded Products, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Legacy Hydromat Technician to join our manufacturing team in Galion, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily operations, general maintenance, organizing, and training. This role requires a strong understanding of Hydromat machines and leadership.
Shift3rd Shift – Sunday – Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:00 am (hours may vary). Must train on first shift. Pay based on experience with shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift.

- Set up legacy Hydromat rotary transfer machines according to job specifications and engineering drawings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor machine and line performance to ensure quality and consistency.
- Work with operators to increase product and machine knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance on Hydromat machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Replace or repair machine parts as needed.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Technical training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Hydromat machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to train less experienced operators through a training program.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Communication, organizing, and leadership skills are a must.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Regular working hours with overtime opportunities based on production needs.
