Covert Manufacturing is looking for a CMM Quality Technician in Galion, OH. The CMM Operator responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities- First piece approval
- Final inspections
- Operator CMM
- Assist in-process sheets
- Disposition of non-conforming material
- Setting gauges prior to use
- Perform duties as requested by the Quality Supervisor
- Properly use and read gauges
- Process audits
- Work overtime as needed
- Minimum of 1 year on-the-job training in a manufacturing facility
- Strong computer skills
- Self-motivated with good verbal skills
- General understanding of machining processes, basic blueprint reading, ISO 9001, IATF, ISO 14001
- Able to operate a forklift
- Fundamentals of mathematical calculations
