Job Summary
A Site Loss Control Specialist is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation in the Gallatin, TN area. We are seeking an experienced safety professional to manage risk, regulatory compliance, and insurance program requirements for complex ground‑up and retrofit data center construction projects in live mission‑critical environments.

Contract - Salary: $62.22 - $93.33 per hour
- Work hours:
8am to 4pm - Education:
Bachelor's degree
- Perform risk assessments for all construction-related tasks
- Maintain working relationships with the project team to aim for zero incidents
- Provide guidance to the project team and contractors on effective safety methodologies
- Facilitate incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Create reports for corrective actions
- Work with the ICM loss control team to meet minimum standards
- Assist with on‑site training to improve safety efforts
- Maintain cross‑functional relationships to foster cooperation
- Integrate into the construction sequence to ensure safety performance
- Operate effectively within an Owner Controlled Insurance Program environment
- Travel up to 30% to provide support as needed
- 5 or more years of construction experience in a dedicated safety role
- Experience working within an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) environment
- Experience implementing Environmental Health and Safety enhancement programs
- Experience partnering with team members and external contractors
- Experience with ground‑up construction and greenfield site development
- Experience with retrofit projects in live mission‑critical environments
- Experience with projects in occupied buildings requiring sustaining operations
- Experience working in existing, operational data centers
- Experience in Big Tech environments is preferred over strict manufacturing
- Understanding of design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of telecommunications and structured cabling infrastructure
- Knowledge of fast‑track design‑build processes
- Familiarity with construction contracts and associated documents
- Understanding of regulatory agency compliance and risk management
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) designation
- OSHA 500 certification
- Experience level:
