Job Description
The Senior FP&A Analyst will work directly with the SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis and play a key role in supporting the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning efforts.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of budgeting processes, financial forecasts, operational plans, analytical models, and reporting dashboards.
- Track key performance metrics, identify emerging patterns, and investigate variances.
- Build advanced financial models and conduct analyses that inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare presentations and materials for the CFO and executive leadership, including board reports, investor content, and other senior-level updates.
- Improve organizational performance by assessing processes, recommending efficiencies, and evaluating ROI across programs and operations.
- Review and interpret complex financial data to deliver timely, actionable insights for management.
- Support M&A efforts, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Enhance systems and workflows by assessing current practices, recommending improvements, and leading implementation of enhancements.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses to guide leadership decisions.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A / strategy / related.
- Background in corporate FP&A, management consulting, or investment banking preferred.
- Experience in franchise-based businesses is a plus.
- Comfortable engaging with senior executives.
- Strong business acumen with a practical, results-driven mindset.
- Ability to identify trends and develop strategic recommendations using research and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Collaborative team member who can also work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
