* About the Role
* TEKsystems is looking for a reliable Telecommunications Technician to support projects in the Greater Nashville area. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecom systems while working with a supportive team and staying up to date with new technologies.

* Responsibilities
* * Install, repair, and maintain telecom equipment and cabling

* Perform inspections and troubleshoot network issues

* Configure and program telecom devices (VoIP, PBX, etc.)

* Work with team members to keep networks running smoothly

* Provide technical support to endusers

* Keep accurate records of equipment and service work

* Follow safety and industry standards

* Stay informed on new tools and technologies

* Requirements
* * High school diploma or equivalent

* Experience in telecommunications or a related field

* Knowledge of routers, switches, cabling, and network basics

* Familiarity with VoIP, PBX systems, and network protocols

* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

* Good communication and teamwork abilities

* Ability to work independently when needed

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
