WhatYou’ll Do
As a Line Lead you will be part of our team located in Gallatin, TN. You’ll get to:
- Ensure the orderly, timely and correct flow of materials to production and/or packaging cells
- Maintain orderly and accurate inventory in warehouse
- Will become proficient in the safe use of all material handling equipment
- Accurately perform warehouse audits, safe material handling, and assist other teams as required
- Guide the workflow and activities of the department while contributing to production needs
- Coordinate personnel support, including cross-training, to achieve Service Level Goals
- Assist in maintaining adherence to company policies, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment that ensures compliance to health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Make continuous improvements to the manufacturing processes
- Work with other shifts to ensure successful and accurate inventory movements
- Drive compliance with ISO, quality, and production requirements
- Recognition and prevention of non-conforming material and assist in determination of root cause and actions necessary to resolve
- Work under general supervision and actively participate in team communication
- Drive Powered Industrial Vehicle as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with minimum of two years prior demonstrated experience in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Ability to work independently, highly dependable, and professional in appearance and actions

- Goal oriented and self-motivated with high energy level and ability to multi-task
- Reliable and flexible with hours worked, including weekends and overtime
- Experience in material flow a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relate to all levels
- Influences through setting example
- Consistently demonstrates the highest level of personal ethical conduct, including near-perfect attendance
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Powered Industrial Truck certification preferred; or must be willing to learn
- Moderate to heavy lifting may be required (30 lb. max)
- Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
- Experience driving Powered Industrial Vehicle in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with SAP or other materials management systems preferred.
- Bilingual a plus
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel)
