American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior MS/Tele experience.
Details- Medical Surgical Combination unit within a Level III Trauma Center
- Serves patients of all ages
- Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required, with on-call as needed
- Floating as needed to similar med/surg units
- Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- Active RN license (TN or compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- MS/Tele experience and IV insertion skills required
- Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start
- Provide nursing care across general medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations
- Professional demeanor expected on the unit
- Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
