American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a Level III Trauma Center, requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience.

• Medical Surgical Combination unit (Med/Surg A5) within a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Patient population includes all ages
• Shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend as needed
• Call requirements are as needed
• Floating possible to similar med/surg units as needed
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Uses Meditech EHR system

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• MS/Tele experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start date

• Provide quality medical-surgical and telemetry care to patients of all ages
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear is not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
