Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse in Gallatin, TN. This position involves providing patient care for a diverse adult and geriatric population, primarily focusing on postoperative joints, post-bariatric surgeries, trauma, and general medical/surgical needs. The role supports a level III trauma center and requires dedication to delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare.

  Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required prior to start
• Education:
  
  Must hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN);
  Tennessee RN license; 1+ year of experience in a medical-surgical or orthopedic setting
• Certification/Licensure:
  Valid Tennessee RN license;
  Certifications listed above are required prior to start
• Experience:
  
  1+ year in medical-surgical or orthopedic nursing
• Unit Information: 23-bed unit, patient ratios of 4-6:1, caring for geriatric, adult, and peds (13 and older) populations
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required
• Additional information:
  Highly motivated team player with good assessment skills, excellent patient care, and compassionate bedside manner are essential. Experience with postoperative joint, bariatric, and trauma patients is preferred.
