American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring a TN or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 167-bed hospital with Level III Trauma Center status
• 12-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed
• No on-call requirements
• May float to other Med Surg units as needed

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg required
• Education and licensure meeting TN state requirements for RN practice

• Provide quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual attire is not permitted
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be eligible at the local rate
• Permanent address cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
