Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 1+ years of MS/Tele experience and IV insertion skills on the night shift.

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 1+ years of MS/Tele nursing experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start

• Work on a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Serves patients of all ages
• Shift runs 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required, with on-call as needed
• Floating as needed to similar med/surg units
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing and Meditech EHR
• Provide quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients of all ages
• Professional demeanor expected; scrubs of any color accepted, casual wear not permitted
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered a travel candidate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
