TEKsystems Inc. is looking for an experienced Cable Technician to join our team in Gallatin, TN. This is a 6-month contract role with the chance to become permanent. • Install, maintain, and repair cable systems and equipment.
• Run and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cabling, perform punch downs, and handle low-voltage wiring.
• Troubleshoot and fix connectivity issues.
• Configure and set up cable/network devices.
• Work with team members to ensure smooth network operations.
• Provide support to users and resolve technical problems.
• Keep accurate records of equipment and service work.
• Follow safety guidelines and industry standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus).
• Hands-on experience with cable installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of routers, switches, cabling, and network systems.
• Familiarity with VoIP, PBX, and basic network protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
