This contract position requires on-site work, providing an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a medical practice environment.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgical teams to assess patients, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor patients throughout their surgical experience.

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
• Administer anesthesia agents and monitor patients' vital signs
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and manage any complications that arise
• Provide post-anesthesia care and patient education
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in a clinical anesthesia setting
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
• Schedule:
  
  40 hours per week, no weekends

Daily Volume: ~3 cases

Patient Population:
All ages and degrees of disability, including trauma

Cases:
Bread and butter OB/GYN, pediatric dental, ENT, and orthopedics

Duties:
General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and epidurals

No supervision required

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
