Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography and be proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound technology. This role is vital in providing high-quality patient care, particularly in outpatient environments. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and effective patient management.

Duties
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for various medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to interpret sonographic findings and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
  • Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient conditions.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques while conducting procedures in the cath lab and other clinical settings.
  • Monitor vital signs during procedures and provide necessary support to patients throughout the examination process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sonography, preferably within a Level I or Level II trauma center.
  • Familiarity with anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient interaction.
  • Certification or licensure as required by state regulations for sonographers.
