Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Full training provided - Part Time: 2-6 PM

Join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). If you are not currently an RBT but are interested in becoming one, we provide the training needed to get started.

$20 - $31 an hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individual. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. This role is essential in providing support and education to clients and their families, promoting positive behavioral changes, and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Monitor and document client progress in accordance with established care plans.
  • Utilize medical terminology appropriately when communicating with team members.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Provide patient care by assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • This position requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively support a spanish speaking client.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

  • Familiarity with care plans, medical documentation, and medical terminology is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating empathy and patience.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
