Surgical Tech, Medical Assistant
Operating Room Technician provides essential support during surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures sterile technique, efficient OR turnover, and patient safety in a collaborative surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Assist surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff during procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control standards.
Pass instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation.
Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation.
Clean, organize, and restock operating rooms between procedures.
Help ensure efficient OR turnover and a safe surgical environment.
Work collaboratively with the surgical and healthcare team.
Previous OR Tech experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Relevant OR Tech experience required.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Skills:
Hospital or acute-care OR experience strongly preferred.
Orthopedic OR experience highly desirable.
OB surgical experience highly desirable.
Surgical technology or OR Tech training preferred.
You have proven operating room tech experience and sterile expertise. You possess strong communication, teamwork, and fast-paced environment skills. You hold a high school diploma and relevant OR training
