Description
Deli managers oversee daily operations and act as leaders for convenience store deli employees and the supervisors who work under them.
Requirements Essential Functions- Manage all deli operations; direct, cook, clean,
- Assist in the oversight and management of the super station
- Ensure that employees provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure accuracy and integrity throughout all departments
- Organizing team roles, assignments, and daily operations
- Supervise and discipline all store employees according to company policy
- Follow and enforce all Company Policies and established procedures in the store operations
- Communicate and perform all price signage change requests
- Motivate, encourage, coach, and challenge store employees
- Plan, identify, communicate and delegate employee responsibilities
- Interview, hire, and train employees
- Assist with new employee onboarding and training program
- Ensure that employees respond promptly to risks, hazards, and emergencies
- Promote and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Show effective time management, constantly monitoring store staffing levels
- Monitor cash over/short and inventory shrinkage daily
- Order and maintain inventory
- Conduct price checks and maintain pricing
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
- Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
- Function as a team member and get along with others
- Adhere to daily work schedule
- Work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned

- Push/pull a heavily loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack
- Push/pull a loaded stock cart
- Demonstrate above-average manual dexterity
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
3+ years of retail Management and Food Handling experience preferred
N.M. Food Handlers Permit (will certify)
Age requirementMinimum age 21
AdditionalNavajo Speaking preferred
