Pay or shift range: $22 USD to $25 USD

Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM (Mandatory overtime during scheduled maintenance periods)
Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and dependable technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys firsthand work, has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Media Blasting Duties:
- Operate and maintain media blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal parts.
- Maintain sand/media hopper with clean blasting material.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities.
- Track inventory and ensure timely ordering of parts.
- Keep work area clean and organized daily.
- Follow timekeeping procedures and lunch break policies.
Cathode Maintenance Duties:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair large-area coater systems and supporting infrastructure (vacuum, power, cooling, control)
- Service rotary and planar cathodes used in magnetron-assisted PVD processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including extended shifts during scheduled clean-out days.
- Safely use industrial tools and material handling equipment
- Generate maintenance reports using basic office software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High standards for safety, quality, and professionalism
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, standing, stretching, pulling, pushing)
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
- Experience maneuvering heavy parts with or without assistance.
- Skilled in using hand tools and maintaining equipment safely.
