Job Overview

McNatt Contracting Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and reliable Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team in Galveston, TX. In this critical role, you’ll manage the administrative engine behind our construction operations, ensuring accurate financial tracking and efficient office workflows. You’ll take ownership of our Quick Books Online system, provide support to our accounting team, and ensure that project and company data is kept organized, up-to-date, and accessible.

This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands‑on environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations and provide administrative support to field and office teams
  • Process accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare monthly reports
  • Monitor compliance items such as business licenses and insurance certificates
  • Coordinate with vendors, handle client invoicing, and manage financial documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and maintain HR‑related files and processes
  • Oversee ordering of office supplies and general systems administration
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in office management and bookkeeping, ideally in a small business setting
  • Proficiency with Quick Books Online is required
  • Highly accurate and organized, with strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a flexible, team‑player attitude
  • Familiarity with the construction or contracting industries is a plus
  • Comfortable working onsite in Galveston, TX
