JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide professional skills in diagnostic evaluation of patients with speech, language, cognitive, oral and pharyngeal swallow function, and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services under the supervision of a licensed and certified Speech‑Language Pathologist.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSelect, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests, plan and conduct treatment for patients with swallowing and communication disorders, demonstrate clinical skills with age specific populations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree, Clinical Fellow eligibility in Speech‑Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language Hearing Association, and eligible for Intern license from the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech‑Language Pathology and Audiology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrior Practicum experience in medically based or rehabilitative practices.
SALARYCommensurate with experience.
