Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday

• Call requirements approximately 10-14 days in a 6-week period with 2 weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)

• Holiday coverage as needed

• May float between three larger campuses (Galveston, League City, or Clear Lake) based on needs

• Black scrubs required

• 3+ years of RN experience required

• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience required

• EP trained in hemodynamics and EP Studies

• Must independently perform various department responsibilities including circulator, monitor, scrub, and recovery area duties

• Must demonstrate competency in Cath Lab and EP procedures and equipment utilization

• Must be competent in identifying cardiac rhythms, waveforms, and abnormal ranges with appropriate interventions

• Required certifications: BLS through American Heart Association, Texas RN license

• Preferred certifications: CVRNII or higher, CCRN, RCIS, RCES

• Work with equipment including mechanical ventilator, IABP, Impella, implants, and EP ablation tools

• Routine exposure to radiation and wearing 20 lb lead apron required

• Work in high-stress environment with unpredictable hours for procedure completion
