Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift

• 13-week assignment length

• Call responsibilities required

• Graduate of American Medical Association accredited program in Radiation Therapy required

• Minimum 1 year of related experience required

• Associate Degree or Certificate required

• Must be knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radio biology, radiation physics, and radiation safety

• Expertise in technical aspects of radiation oncology required

• Required certifications:
Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technology, Texas Medical Board license in Medical Radiologic Technology, BLS certification through American Heart Association

• Work with Varian and Siemens CT Scanners equipment

• Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrate high level critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to make quick evaluations and decisions

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical and treatment teams

• Virtual orientation required through HCSS

• In-person Epic training required based on training calendar

• Must complete all orientation training and compliance before receiving schedule

• Overtime available for all hours worked over 40 hours per week
