Spirit of the Position

The Supervisor helps to oversee the operation of the location while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. This supervisor responds to all positions that have a need for supervision.

Must have a valid drivers license for at least 2 years

Principal

Job Duties
  • Be a role model of positivity and professionalism for subordinates.
  • Ensure staff adhere to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train staff on day-to-day duties.
  • Assist in establishing performance standards.
  • Possess the ability to maintain a professional level of composure when engaged with customers.
  • Recommend and implement changes to procedures when necessary.
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer service with a friendly demeanor, can‑do attitude, and willingness to always be helpful.
  • Responsible for reconciling daily paperwork from subordinates related to revenue or parking/garage reservations and other reports as requested by management.
  • Role play/assist with periodic training as needed.
  • Assist with creation of weekly schedule, as necessary.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve customer service issues as needed, being responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution.
  • Always display a caring attitude.
  • Accept and process debit/credit card payments at entry gates.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Other related duties as assigned by facility manager.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
  • Parking industry experience is required.
Skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Be approachable and engaging.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Be proactive. Take ownership of the operation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
  • Have excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc., for an entire shift.
