Pay Rate: $46–$48/hr (W2)
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Orientation: 2 days, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Description
Shriners Children's Texas is seeking an experienced Pediatric Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN opportunity in Galveston, Texas. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to pediatric patients in a specialized hospital setting.

• Provide nursing care to pediatric Med/Surg patients.
• Assess patient conditions and monitor progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
• Support patient and family education throughout treatment and recovery.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license.
• 2–3 years of recent acute pediatric nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience.
• Orthopedics and burn experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
