Job Description

The selected QC Director will be responsible for maintaining contract compliance over a portfolio of multimillion dollar design-build infrastructure projects. This position will represent the Prime Contractor, supporting clients including USACE, NAVFAC and other federal entities. Prior experience in a QC Senior Leadership capacity, active CQM certification, and a Clearance (Secret or above) is required for serious consideration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide positive and effective oversight of all QC Managers assigned to projects to ensure proper support of project management teams.
  • Perform internal/external audits to ensure Quality Control requirements are being properly implemented and maintained throughout the Division.
  • Make recommendations to improve Quality Control SOP, and champion software and technology solutions needed to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor the Division’s backlog of pursuits and active projects to develop forward‑looking staffing plans.
  • Review all project specific QC plans to ensure proper compliance with contract requirements.
  • Proactively identify training gaps with personnel, ensuring that they gain access to proper resources and supplemental training to maximize career growth potential.
  • Assist in the identification and vetting of qualified personnel hired to support the project management teams.
  • Assist in the development of a strategic growth plan for the division.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years as a Quality Control professional with a career history showing a progressive increase in responsibilities.
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Active CQM
  • Experience in a QC capacity on design-build federal construction projects exceeding $50M
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective people management skills including the ability to delegate.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
  • Active Secret Clearance (TS preferred)
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites CONUS and OCONUS to participate in precon and project kick off activities.

  • Salary 150-210k (based on experience and certifications)
